The import process is capable of thinning out profiles that are more closely spaced than desired in the finished database. If Min. Spacing is set to 3 feet, then if a pair of profiles is read which is less than 3 feet from the previous pair, they will be discarded. Thinning unneeded profiles keeps the database from growing too large. To accept all profiles regardless of spacing, set Min. Spacing to 0.
