The Run Export file format is comma-delimited Ascii (CSV). It can be imported directly by Microsoft Excel.
The file contains a header line describing the run, followed by detail lines describing individual rail profiles. Both the header line and the detail lines are preceded by a line of column identifier labels.
Available export options
Profile measurements may be reported in mm or in.
Track gauge may be reported in mm or in.
Track side may be reported as a compass code (N/S/E/W) or handed code (L/R).
Distance from reference location (milepost) may be reported in major units (e.g. decimal miles) or minor units (e.g. feet)
GPS coordinates latitude, longitude and elevation may be included if the GPS database table is populated. Including GPS will slow down the export by many times!
