Using the Rail Wear Trend Chart

The menu of the Rail Wear Trend Chart window has the following choices:

Scale

Horizontal… opens a dialog, which allows the extent of the horizontal axis to be changed. If the horizontal axis is time, the Trend Chart Time Scale Dialog is opened, allowing the user to change the displayed date range. If the axis is tonnage, the Trend Chart Tonnage Scale Dialog appears, allowing the user to change the tonnage range, the size of a major unit, and the number of divisions within a major unit.

Vertical… opens the Rail Trend Chart Vertical Scale Dialog, which allows changes to the vertical scale, major units, and divisions for both head loss and wear scales, like the Trend Chart Parameters Dialog.

Print… opens a standard Windows Print dialog, allowing you to specify how the chart should be printed. Note that the charts look best when printed in landscape orientation.

Segment Info… opens the Track Segment Information Dialog, allowing access to additional track segment information and charts.

Help provides on-line help for the Rail Wear Trend Chart window

These picture buttons are also available:

 Print Prints the contents of the window using default settings.

 Previous (¬ key) Displays the trend chart for the previous segment.

 Next (® key) Displays the trend chart for the next segment.
